How long have you been an MC? :

I have been in the entertainment industry for ten years.

Why do you enjoy being an MC?

I was introduced to the entertainment industry by my friend who was a DJ at all the bars and clubs we used to go to,  and before I knew it, I had a mic in my hand getting the crowd going. I had a lot of fun in the bar/club scene, but I was looking for something more.  In 2013 I became part of the LI Sound team and the guys here quickly helped me transform from a club MC to a professional polished wedding MC.  One of the things I enjoy the most about being an MC is the relationship I get to build with the Bride and Groom. From the initial meeting all the way to the very moment they see all their dreams and vision come to life.  I love what I do and I am extremely passionate about it,  There is nothing better than rocking a wedding.

How would you describe your style as an MC?

I think our job as entertainers, as well as, our responsibility is to be well rounded and extremely versatile to fit whatever the event needs. Sometimes we have to “jump start” the party! I love these moments because it give me the opportunity to find a creative and fun way to get people dancing.   However, nobody comes to your wedding to hear and see me. You’ll never hear or see me on the microphone more than I have to be, we get one moment to say or create something special so I make it count.  If someone were to ask me what an entertainer is? my answer is simple classy, professional, charismatic, and witty.  Call me old school but every time I grab the mic I say to myself:  “How would Sinatra handle this?”…..
